Why does the quote sometimes fall?
The quote is based on terminal outcomes still possible after the revealed bits. New information can lower their mean reward weight. The quote therefore can fall or reach zero rather than always climbing.
Each four-bit block becomes a number from 1 to 16. The final score is |σ(abc) − σ(a)σ(b)σ(c)|, with σ meaning the positive-divisor sum. The selected Linear, Square or Cube curve weights that score.
What should I choose before starting?
Select a stake of 10, 20, 50 or 100 and one of the three curves. You can collect manually with Auto off, or choose Auto ×1.25, ×1.75 or ×2.50. The defaults after a load are 20, Linear and Auto off.
One stake is deducted at the start. Stake, curve, automatic level, restoration and a second start remain locked until settlement. Sound can still be turned on or off.
Which collection happens first?
A manual collect click first processes any reveals already due. Each step checks zero before automatic collection. If a previous step crossed your automatic level, it settles there before a later step could reach zero.
An automatic level uses the full quote at the first crossing, not just the level selected. Step twelve collects a positive surviving quote even below the level. You may also collect manually before the first reveal at ×0.97.
Why is my payment a whole number?
The wallet credits floor(raw gross return + previous carry). The fractional remainder is saved for another settlement; a zero return does not erase it. Gross return includes the stake, so net change equals the credited payment minus the stake.
For a quick example, collecting the initial ×0.97 quote with stake 20 and carry zero gives raw return 19.4. The payment is 19 and carry becomes 0.4. Starting from 1,000, the final balance is 999: a net change of −1.
When can I restore or refresh?
Restore balance is available only when the game is idle and the balance is below 10. It sets the balance to 1,000 rather than adding 1,000; carry stays unchanged. Exactly 10 is not eligible.
An active round does not survive a refresh. Its stake remains deducted and no refund, payment or resumption follows. Balance, including zero, and carry remain in browser localStorage. Controls return to stake 20, Linear and Auto off.
What does the website store or request?
The play wallet and fractional carry are stored locally in this browser. Clearing cached files alone may leave them intact; clearing the site’s local storage removes them. There is no account synchronization or recovery feature.
The pages request Google Fonts resources and include a Statinside counter with identifier 44. See the privacy page for the scope of these observations. The demo uses virtual coins without cash value and is intended for adults aged 18 and over.
Frequently asked questions
Does 97% mean I receive 97 coins every time I stake 100?
No. It is the exact unrounded expected gross return over possible outcomes for the tested policies and curves. Individual quotes and whole-coin payments vary.
What happens if the final quote is below my automatic setting?
A positive step-twelve quote is collected anyway. The round does not continue beyond the twelfth step while waiting for the threshold.
Does restoring the balance erase fractional carry?
No. Eligible restoration sets the wallet to 1,000 while preserving carry. Carry also persists across settlements and reloads.
